I don't know what you mean by state your flag but I am a 23 year old female and I would fight back. I don't care if it was a 300 beater car its mine and no one can just come up and take something form me with out a fight.

Some of these people make it sound like killing someone is like taking the last piece of cake. It is not! Let the darn car go even if it is a 2004 or 2005 or a model of the future. The material things may not be replaced but your friends and family can't replace you either. And they would have to spend money on some funeral that could have been prevented by giving up that darn car. Plain and simple answer with out naming the flag, age or sex! Like that has anything to do with the answer.

I would let him think he was getting my car and comply to the point of getting out. Once he opens my door to force me out I am going for the Glock I have beside my seat. He is going to be preoccupied trying to open my door and ecstatic at the fact he just jacked me of my car so I feel I would have the element of surprise. If I do not have the element of surprise, then I may be in trouble, but then again, he may be in trouble too. Most of your knife wielders would probably run anyway as soon as you showed that you were better armed or that you were even going to resist their attempt. There are to many people out there that would just say "Here you go!" and give up without thinking twice that your common dumbassed crook will not waste their time trying to fight you for something, especially not a civic.

If you are stupid enough to stand out of your car with keys and allow someone to prick the tip of knife at your back asking for the keys, you do not deserve the car.
Otherwise if you are inside your car with your window glasses up what the hell can a knife do to you? You are in driving seat and drive away calmly unless you have already allowed the thief to occupy the back seat.
With your questions it appears you intend using a knife to snatch wallets and cars, and perhaps collecting possible reactions to prepare for counter attacks.
Clever !!!!

Entirely depends on the circumstances.
Who am I with (children change the situation completely)?
Am I in the vehicle or beside the vehicle?
What kind of reactionary gap do I have? (extremely important because even though I carry a weapon(s) 24/7, trying to draw down on someone with a bladed weapon within 15 ft will just get you killed)
The problem with fighting with someone carrying a bladed weapon is that usually everybody gets cut. If the subj has a disease, even if you win---you still die.
I'm not one to roll over and play dead, but, there are many factors that would come into play in this situation.

being a responsible citizen i have decided to carry a firearm and get a concealed carry permit from arizona. with the weapon i have also armed myself with the knowledge of the law and how to responsibly use self defense. no one needs to capitulate to the two legged vermin that have picked you to be there victim, no matter what is at stake. if you choose to fight back, do it the most responsible way. arm yourself with knowledge and training along with a firearm.

Well, I live in Texas and I have a concealed gun permit (many private citizens have one). I would give him one warning to drop to the ground and stop what he was doing. If he didn't do so, I would shoot him - that is shoot to kill. There is no need to put up with this kind of activity. By the way, I am a male.

some one trying to take my car wielding a knife will have to talk into the barrel of my 4506....

I doubt he would still want it since a case of lead poisoning would come with it..

a punk tried that with a gun .. the safety was on, so i gave him a precordial thump(sucker punched him straight into the zyphoid process), it knocked him dowm, i took his gun (a nice but hot 45) and all the bling he had on him-- three huge necklaces, kicked him a couple of times , and left him lying in the parking lot. the gun is now on bottom of the illinois river.
