Okay, so I never really went to church growing up and I want to start now. What do you believe is the best religion and why?

it takes time to know which recognised religion can guide you and has fate with you.

while you study each recognised religion, you should remind yourself to know what is wrong and what is right if a curiosity rises.

remember, there is no true wrong and no true right when you start to analyse but it is more of a closest answer that you should focus on rather than a statement.

You've got some really big decisions coming up. Religions aren't hobbies, they are entire belief systems that stem from some real basics. First of all, I take it you believe in God. That's a good start. You also mentioned churches, implying that you have a basic belief in Christianity. You may want to look for a web site that compares the different religions and see where they align with your own beliefs. If I can offer any advice, I'd say take a close look at the religions/denominations that emphasize the head as well as the heart in its worship. That way you don't get caught up in pure emotion or pure academia with no heart. Good luck in your quest.

There really isnt a "best religion" out there. But I do believe there is a "best religion" that fits a certain person. Mine is Catholicism. You should experiment with different churches/ religions and stick to the one you like best. Good luck! :)

There is no best religion.
Religion is what you do & how you do it (live life )
Keep your options open
Go to the church on a Sunday, a mosque on a Friday atemple on any day.
Choose what you like
If you were born Christian stay Christian donot worry about which sect or Church read the Bible especially Gospel of Mathews If you have less time or patience.
If you were born Muslim stay true to your faith understand the Quran ( do not Rote it)
Simillarly for other religions

There really are no "best religions" if you believe in God, you can pray to him anywhere, any Organized religion will tell you that God is everywhere, so if that is true you can talk to him anytime, no need to go to a fancy church or any other place of worship, Bigger is not always better, like the tower of power in california, do you think you can get to heaven faster,by going there and giving a lot of money, I don't thinks so, I never saw a Armored car following a funeral car yet!

Every religion is considered by it's believers as the best. Non believers and not real believers won't think the religion they are following is the best.

I believe Christianity is the best religion because it is a religion that is most sought after and I like to know about Jesus Christ.

I don't think that anyone can answer this question for you. Research and you will know for yourself. For unbiased descriptions of various religions:
