My favorite cure for the blues is to throw on a favorite comedy movie or CD. The key is to distract myself until I get to a bit that really makes me laugh and then I genuinely feel better. Right now I'm really into Dane Cook and I tell you, no matter how annoyed or down I might feel, if I focus on remembering one of my favorite jokes I can't help but to feel better. I'll crack a smile and before I know it I am laughing.

Firstly, recognise what's making you blue. Is it something you can change? If not, you have to accept it and move on... great ways to move on are: taking up a sport, chatting to strangers on the net, phoning an old friend, draw or paint, write down your feelings and thoughts, visit your grandparents or do something nice for someone else. If this doesn't work, go shopping!
