How does it differ itself from powder or salt and where can it purchased?

Dried garlic that has been ground to a granular size. It's not the same as powder. Often has a faint roasted/toasted taste. I prefer it to powder. Powder has additives to make it flow, yet can still make a lump in your sauce. Rarely so with granulated. Unlike garlic salt it doesn't have any salt added to it, so you get to be the judge of how much salt you want in your food.

It is granules of garlic... Garlic powder should work just fine, it is just a tad finer than garlic granules. You should be able to buy it at any grocery store.

It is chopped garlic, you can buy dry granulated garlic at spice section in supermarket or you can buy fresh garlic that taste will be better than dry granulated garlic.

just mashed up dried garlic- its very good actually - very potent !
