He's the perfect easygoing, relaxed antidote to my anal-retentive, sometimes anxiety-ridden personality.
He treats my family and friends like gold.
But here's the problem: He's short~5'6" to my 5'9". You can imagine what it looks like when I'm wearing my four-inch Jimmy Choos. EeeeK! I realize I'm completely ridiculous. I love this man! I want him to be the father of my children. How do I get over my height freak-out?

YOU REALLY HAVE TO GET OVER THE HEIGHT ISSUE!! HEIGHT ISN'T EVERYTHING IN THE RELATIONSHIP. IF YOU LOVE HIM FOR WHO HE IS AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WITH HIM THEN YOU HAVE TO START FOCUSSING ON THAT INSTEAD OF THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE. There is no problem, here. This man is a god. Just remember what he means to you and you would be able to get over any obstacle. Besides, he sounds fantastic, and it's been my experience that the smaller ones are the best. Lot's of luck on your great relationship!!!!! P.S. : You have Jimmy Choos, good for you!!!!!!!!!

Make a list of his strengths. Think of all the different areas in which he seems to tower over you. Label all the different vibrant parts of his personality that you love because of their magnitude, and when you feel like he's too small standing next to you, think of just how tall of a man he is.
If you can't do this, than he's probably not the man for you. Another idea, though, would be to talk to him about your problem, and ask what he does to deal with his own feelings about being too short. He's had to cope with it for a lot longer than you have. Just remember, love conquers all! If you truly love him, you will get past this problem somehow. If he loves you, you will see him standing tall as he conquers for you.

Looks fade but character blossoms with age....you gotta get over this phobia soon. Is this sweet guy worth getting over for Jimmy Choo high heels? Think again, gal. And whatever your kids turn out to be, leave it to God. He has the best plans for every single child on earth.

Aww, this reminds me of Saved By the Bell, lol ;).
It's just something you're going to have to accept and get used to. The guy sounds like the perfect one for you, and to rain on that parade just because of something so trivial as his height really isn't right.
You're just going to have to get used to holding onto your man and holding him proud, because he's not going to grow. And don't think you have to ditch your lovely Jimmy Choos ;).
It's just like you said, a freak-out, but you'll get over it soon enough.

Just stop worrying so much about what it looks like, and start focusing on the fact that you two look fabulous together (no matter what kind of height difference) because you two are so in love with each other and that naturally sets off a sort of glow within a person.

I understand your problem, however if you really care about this man forget about the height thing and just be happy. If the height is really a that big a deal how about not wearing the heels. Be grateful it is something little like his height and not something big like another woman.

THERAPY! I am not kidding either, you need to know why his height is an issue for you, who the hell cares who is taller? Don't you feel safe when he wraps his arms around you? Whats wrong with hugging a guy when you're wearing heels and his face comes to your breasts? Nuzzle babe, get over it....good guys are hard to find, don't screw it up because of some shallow height requirement!

Well..wear the Jimmy Choos when you are not with him...
Don't feel you are shallow...because it's a normal concern for a girl. Probably for guys too...
You're going to have to discuss this with your man...let him know how you are feeling, reassure yourself that you love him...and can love him shorter than you...

You could start by not wearing 4 inch heels! lol look if hes all that you are one lucky woman! dont go out of your way to be taller than him,and just think of a tall 6ft 3 guy beating your *** every day, and saying fetch me a beer *****!
