Well I have nothing against Muslim people for being Muslim. But I don't like your religion. I think you are misguided in thinking that dogs and pigs are unclean... to eat perhaps, but they are actually wonderful animals that make wonderful pets. I've been told that if a dog's nose touches a person?/Muslim it erases all their good deeds that are helping them get to heaven.. well sorry, but if that's true it's really stupid!

I think this idea of being a Martyr and blowing yourselves up is pretty stupid too. I know not all Muslims might agree with this behaviour... I certainly hope not anyway, but killing innocent people that don't even have anything to do with whatever problem the crazy suicide bomber was trying to bring attention to is insane! Half the time they are even blowing up other Muslims! Why is that?

There is way too much violence that springs up from religion.
If a person truly believes in God, they should live their lives teaching by example of how to be tolerant and live in peace and work toward helping others as well as looking after the environment and their families, because I'm sure God would appreciate that a lot more.

Not all muslim believers are violent most are peaceful and kind people who are just trapped in their position of being forced to believe in Allah. Most of the believers have been bullied and forced into believing this religion,.....it is taught in the Quran that the unbelievers are to be exterminated.....the violent ones are the ones inforcing this, they will even put their life on the line to get this point across even with no promise of any reward in the afterlife, not even muhamed knew or was sure of receiving heavenly reward for his part in the creating of this religion.......

I pray that all muslims will drink from the everlasting well of Jesus Christ and recieve the Father and Heaven by his love and sacrifice for us.....he is the only man who has predicted his death and resurrection and promised eternal to all who simply believe in him.......Muhamed is dead in his grave and died not secure in his spiritual future.

In general Islam is considered a good religion which teach it's believers to do good. I have many good Muslim as my friends. But a part of them interpret the Islam to other way to misguide people to conflict and hate and resort to extreme dangerous acts to kill people who don't follow them. You can not deny 9/11 and many innocents people who have been killed every day over the world. I sincerely beg good Muslim try their best to stop brutal killing and bring peace to our world.

We wouldnt identify them as misunderstandings if thats what they were. It would just be the assumptions and associations we have of Muslim world.
A lot of mine have been shattered because of getting to know some Muslim people for the first time in my life and realizing how incorrect I was about some things and how little I knew. Believe me, my respect and understanding has grown emmensely because of this, and because I have great respect for these particular human beings.
The subjugation of women is what concerns me most, what I like/respect least of all. Im really very deeply bothered by it. We certainly have our own breed of overt sexism and definitely of a twisted over emphasis on sex but we women in the west are free to choose for ourselves our own lives, careers, relationships, etc. And I cannot imagine it another way

I live in Israel and I am not misguided by media -

what do I think of Islam? It is a dangerous religion which will eventually result in either two things: either World War 3 or the end of the world.

True Islam believers will stop at nothing until they make sure that the entire world believes in their religion even if that means killing people for their lack of faith in their God.

I have no misunderstandings against Islam. Infact, Islam is one of the most peace-loving religions. Having spent most of my life interacting with muslims at school, college and in the neighbourhood - I have learnt alot from them. During Eid, my muslim friends invite me for lunch at their place. During Christmas or Easter, they come over to my place. I have muslim neighbours who go out of their way to help us.
We as non-muslims must learn to maintain good relationships with muslim brothers and sisters.

What are you trying to say.
That the Muslims are worshiping God correctly?
Kill and kill and kill.
What the hey?
I saw the plane driven into the tower.
I saw people dying.
My people.
I heard a woman at work say kill every last Jew.
I saw a Muslim at work smiling after the devastation of 911, that day.
He was happy as hell.
He was gleeful.
I don't misunderstand anything.
