Do you mean a tea kettle when you say water boiler?
I'm in the pest control industry. Cockroaches carry more bacteria and germs then any other insect. You should use a sanitizing scrub to clean the kettle both inside and out. Rinse. Then boil water about 3/4 of the kettle's capacity, then rinse again. At this point you will be fine to use the kettle again. Good luck.

first of all, why would you drink from the water boiler? you need a filter so it will filter and purify your water.... I don't think you caught any bacteria, it there is no vomit, or fever, I wouldn't say there is a bacteria.

You ingest viruses and bacteria daily; most of which are destroyed by your stomach acid. If you havent got sick yet, you probably wont.
