How many have read both books???
Do you accept or reject evolution?
Have you further educated yourselves...and if you what information have you gathered to support you position?

The reason I ask this is because these two books are great examples of support for both Intelligent Design and Evolution. I have asked it before and so far almost no one has read either one.

My concern is that if you haven't taken the time to do even the basic research...haven't bothered to do any reading, listen to any pro or con, then how can you possible form an opinion???

Hate to disappoint a Phd...but if you where you wouldn't make that statement.
I accept evolution and believe it is the best explantion. But the BEST science can ever do is Theory..and you would..know that!!! it is the highest that science can go...
Theory:
A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.

Have read The Blind Watchmaker and a lot of other books by Dawkins.

I abosultely believe in evolution. I even think it's the greatest ssientific discovery of all time.

I believe that evolution isn't just restricted to the biological world but is widely prevalent in all systems in the universe. Read 'the Origin of Wealth' by Eric Beinhocker to find out how evolution is changing our understanding of economics

I have read neither, but I probably should. It'll be on my "to do" list with a zillion other things.

I accept evolution. I have further educated myself, including many college courses such as anatomy & physiology, botany, zoology, anthropolgy, biochemistry & molecular biology....also, philosophy and comparative religions.

I realize I'm certainly not the most well versed on either side of the subject, but for me, there's no "maybe". Evolution happened, and is continuing to happen. The End.

Its funny that scientists today go by the theory and not the facts, if the facts don't add up with the theory, they throw out some of the facts untill it does. Sad but true.

Have you done a lot of serious research on the "stork theory" of human reproduction? Or did you just stick with what they taught you in highschool biology class/health class? Because, i mean, you have to look at "both sides" of the issue, right?

I rest my case.

Evolution hasn't been a theory for several decades--it's a proven fact.

I havent and dont care to. I have read the Bible and it also supports a creator. I have no need to read anything else on the matter.
