Seems to like me, I know he's been really hurt before. Is he afraid to hold my hand?

It could be he really respects you and cares, and doesn't want to push you away by coming on too strong in the beginning, just one of those once a life time respect things.. I would feel special. Or he could have been hurt and hes afraid to let his feelings go, in this case go gentle and slow with him, let him from his wounds he'll make a better partner for you if hes healed from a painful relationship rather then if hes still hurting and reeling from it.. those are my 2 answers good luck:)

I'd say he's unsure of himself or what to do. Considering he's made the attempt to hold your hand more than once, I'd say he definitely likes you and wants to hold your hand. But he's probably also unsure if he's ready for a relationship again, or not completely sure if you want to hold hands with him. My advice, next time he tries to hold your hand or you grab his hand to hold, squeeze his hand gently and look at him (make sure he's looking at you at the same time) and smile, to show you want to hold hands with him and that you enjoy doing so. Did you ask him why he does that? Chances are he wants to do more than hold your hand is trying to control it......so ask him.....he might say.....God you make me melt and I just want to grab you and kiss you.........but, I am trying to be nice and not move too fast.........on the other hand, he may have issues with public displays of affection...

yes. dosent want to crowd you ands probably shy so take hold of his hand show him thats what you want smile at him and youre probably going to have to wear the pants for a while in this relationship, but if youlike him it will be worth it cause one day hell heal and THEN its gonna be fun!

He likes you but he doesn't want to like you. His mind is trying to overrule his heart. Any particular reasons why you think you may not be the right person for him? He certainly seems to think there are reasons not to be with you.

Could be that he's hurt and isn't yet ready... Could be that you're sending mixed signals too! Maybe he's just very shy and needs a little prodding...
