Many denominations have the alpha course. Its not limited to a specific denomination.

I already took the course this past year. I found it very inspirational and interesting.I was just wondering how many other people on Yahoo answers had taken the course.

Yes I took it. It's designed for people curious about Jesus, or new christians. It's meant to answer their questions. My church did it a couple times, but haven't receintly. By the way, what the guy said above me is not true. It is completely scripture based.

So your church doesn't have a bible? There is both a beginning and end (Alpha and Omega in Greek). And the Alpha is the basics to Christian belief. It serves a number of organized religions.

"In 1977, Charles Marnham, a clergyman at Holy Trinity Brompton, London, began looking for a means of presenting the basic principles of the Christian faith to new Christians in a relaxed and informal setting. He devised the Alpha Course."

I am glad you found a course that you like. To see how the principles work, you need to read the reference.

My church has it, but I have not taken it. I have only heard good things about it though so if you're interested you should check it out.
