I want people to remember me for both. I want to be remembered for being successful raising my children and having fun with them too. You can have both fun and success you know. If you love your job and you are very good at it then why can't you have both. It really doesn't matter what your job is.

Not everyone cares about how they are remembered after they are gone- wether it be to another city or from this life. Some would rather leave no trace on this earth of their existence, others want some legacy. I persoanlly would like to have left osme fun memories for people to have and enjoy, and would hope that anything I left behind was positive.

It's not the dead who care about being remembered. It's the living who care and give a damn.
Don't care about my former place of residence. I'd nuke it in a heartbeat because of all the s-h-i-t I went through while growing up there.
Greatness or success isn't for one's self. It's bequeathed to the one's you'll leave behind.
Fun while having success is cool.

It isn't about being remembered, revered, or so-called successful. Life is about making a contribution to life, to the world. Have a purpose! Fun and greatness are in the little things we do each day for each other.

Whether you move , be successful in life, ...or be one of the very few wealthey persons..[.[.or like me who dreamed to have a Toyota for the last 30+years and didn't successed, I don't know which is whitch.]] BBBUT, I know " dead people" care when " living people " don't care. To be more clear, DREAMING GOOD, DOING GOOD is by far better than DOING BADDDD. Whether you like it or not, TRY TO DO GOOD AND see the answer ........

What is important to the world is transcendence. When I, for example, smile at a child or encourage somebody I have an effect that cannot be measured. This is a transcendent effect. I would love to have a lot of transcendent effect as a result of my living. "Fun" and "success" are only useful inasmuch as they contribute to my transcendent potential. Wish me luck.

Dead people might care more than we think they do. There are things among us that know one can explain. I want people to remember the love I gave to others and the times I made them laugh.

success. The only success is knowing Jesus.
Most people won't care how they are remembered because they are dead.

1) Not really....but it'd be nice to be respectively remembered.
2) Happiness is the greatest success of life: find yours and enjoy
3) I tend to think fun comes with true success.....hopefully, I'll carry that on w/ me when I pass on.

Bamboozled,
I don't know if they do, but to what are they hoping for. There is eternity ahead with a God who is allowing some of us to stay with Him. I really don't get any indication from the Bible that any deeds are eternal except those He enables us to do.
