If a perfect God had created the earth; would he not create it in such a way that, no conflict or turmoil would exist?
Blake's poem posed the question did the hand that created the lamb also create the tyger?
It is obvious to me that if there was a creator, then it was mankind. Because, what other creature would hold enough pride and arrogance to throw every form of DNA(gentle and vicious) in the primordial soup, just to stand back with his arms crossed, chest out and a big crap eating grin on his face.
To me creationism started with a big bang. Evolution followed within the species.

Hmmm, maybe you didn't have enough space to fully develop your thought?

When God created the Earth it was perfect. There was no conflict or turmoil. He also gave us free-will, because without that, we couldn't possibly be perfect and would never be a reflection of God. We used our free will to challenge God though, to try to use our own logic and reason to elevate ourselves to God's level. It is our own choices, when we turn away from God, that have brought conflict and turmoil into the world. Now we are struggling to get back to that perfection, and thankfully God sent us his Son to make it possible for us to get there. It does require sacrifice though, so if you want to find that peace, pick up your cross and follow him.

"It is obvious to me that if there was a creator, then it was mankind. Because, what other creature would hold enough pride and arrogance to throw every form of DNA(gentle and vicious) in the primordial soup...." I can't see that this makes sense at all, whether you are an evolutionist or a creationist, because in either case there is a big problem in your chronology.

Well you might have a point there. You can difinately believe that and truly dismiss the idea that God is perfect. But there might be another reasoning behind his creation if it is true. When he created the world and all that lives here. He did so for a reason, what that reason is, is only known by him. But as long as we are speculating on who he is and if he exists, why not wonder why he would let all us humans suffer thru all the bad things to happen in the worlds life time.

If you were to give your child a tasks to do, and you showed him the way to do it. Would you do the task for him after that? Would he learn anything? Would he be able to do the task if you were to do the task for him all the time? I think not. But if you were to let him go, on his own, make his mistakes and to try over again and again until he was able to do the task, would he be a better person for it, and would you not be proud of him?

We maybe God did just that. Created man, gave him a set of rules to follow, then let him go and see how he fairs. We all must choose our way and how to manage our lives. God does make us do anything. He just lets us do what we do. He has given us rules, the questions to answer but if he tell us the answers do we become good enough to proceed to a different level if that is the case. Structures of mankind didn't just happen. Someone or something gave us the structures but we have to have faith enough to understand what these structures are. Civilizations have come and gone because the basic structures or life and understanding of humanity have been not heeded.

Therefore he has let us to find our own way but he does have a line of communications open to him just in case you need some additional answers. Some believe that and some don't. Good Luck

He gave humans the right of free will, just as he did the Angels. For now, he's waiting for the time to come when humans realize that they cannot rule themselves to turn the earth back into a paradise. As for the lamb and the tiger, both are an integral part of the self supporting system that maintains the environment. Sheep help keep down the long grass and provide fertilizer. The tiger moderates the number of sheep, so that there are not too many eating up all the grass. The tiger also provide a different form of fertilizer. The dung beetle takes the dropping and buries them. Everything has a role, and were created for that role.

I believe that my God is a perfect God, and created everything as he wished it to be. I cannot find the best words to explain my faith, or my personal belief in God, other than I cannot look at another human being and think they came form some invisible bang in the universe. To me, if you have nothing, you cannot just make something out of nothing. There has to be a beginning to all things, and to me, that beginning is God. Why he made everything like it is? With illness, calamity, pain, etc? Dont know. I dont believe it is imperfection. I can hardly look at the beauty of rainbows, mountains, or other people and think it was imperfect. There must be a bigger picture that I am not undertanding right now. I have to accept that in this world there is both pleasure and pain and happiness and sorrow, and without the creator, I would know none of this. One day I believe I will meet God, and get to ask why. But until then, I must accept that for this time, right now, here I am. Just my thoughts.

What do you consider imperfection. If the Bible was fact then God was far from perfect. Consider this ...

The Bible is trash. The Bible is the biggest load of garbage and codswallop ever written by man, and I’m sure it will go down in history as the greatest load of gobbledygook ever to inflict such traumatic mental and physical damage on humanity, but still today, some people sadly believe the Bible to be true. That’s very sad indeed. Very sad.

When people quote various passages from the Bible, for example ...

Mathew 5:29-30 God encouraged self-mutilation.
Isaiah 13:15-18 God allowed women raped and little children slaughtered.
Genesis 6:11-17 and 7:11-24 God is the greatest mass murder in history.

What happens? Religious people pop up from under every stone with the same old garbage. “That was the old Bible, or we’ve changed the meaning, or wrong interpretation, or we’ve changed the context, or the quotes are out of context or or or, excuse after excuse.”

The fact is, they are Bible quotes, and the Bible is full of evil atrocities which religious people continually cover up, yet seem happy to drum into the minds of gullible little children. This is such a shameful disgrace in a civilised world.

If religious people are unable to apply commonsense and logic to develop a simple moral code to live by, then perhaps they could strip out of the Bible the evil, murders, rapes, abuse, and all traumatic references. Granted there will not be a lot left to read, but at least religious people may end up with a decent moral code to follow based on good, and not scare the living daylights out of innocent little children.

It is so non-sense and illogical to believe in big bang theory and that there is no creator.
When we know nothing can happen by itself even a tiny thing needs to be designed and manufactured.
There is no conflict on the earth at all. Every thing has its own purpose of being in existence. Nothing is useless. The most radicalous point here that Mr. Blake is more reliable than the God. What Blake says can be basis of ones belief but what God says has no meaning........
If every thing is done by big bang then wait for another one to disclose every thing to you.

Everything WAS originaly perfect. One of the many things that make God such a great God is that He made us with free will instead of making us puppets or robots. However, the consequences of giving us the ability to make our own choices are what you are now observing and blaming on God as His original creation. We took God's perfect creation and we corrupted it. But no worries, God designed a plan that will lead His creation back to perfection.

And no, God didnt mess up by creating us.

We tend to think that God is imperfect, because God is in all living things and all living things are not perfect. But She is perfect and all-powerful, and He is everywhere. Listen. Ask a question, see the answer in the next spoken or nonspoken word, like the whisper of a breeze or a new song on the radio.

Do you wish that I speak for God?
Ask Him yourself. Do you think He would not answer you?
He knows your stubborn heart, and so, He is silent.

Or is it this? Does an ant challenge a human? How ludicrous! Can imperfection criticise perfection? This makes no sense. I do believe that there is a collective memory of a time before strife when a great peace was upon us, and we didn't even know about clothing. We were so innocent that ... well, think of a child. That is how we were, I suppose, at one time. Do you think that the sophisticated thinking we enjoy in this age was always available? No. So at one time, logically speaking we were as we were, simple and happy, and, yes, more trusting.

Absoultely..."God" is certanily imperfect, Christians will argue this to the death, and so will most Thesists..... you Pan-Thesists will of course agree with you as we believe in various aspects of divinity and many "gods' so Imperfections is part and parcel.

We are all related to that reptillian creature that first emerged form the primodial soup....it it is still apparent in our instinctive behavior. A created race would have thrown off our killer instincts by now...an evolved species will not have....And we ARE a killer species...just look around you. We have a special ability unique to the animal kingdom....we can choose to not behave according to instinct. This is what our rise to the top of the food chain has done.
