My native language is Filipino. English is my second language. But when I speak English, I don't use the typical Filipino accent because it sounds so phony (i'm jsut being honest). In the Philippines, knowledge of English language indicates your social status, well it's not right but that's the way it is!
Most Filipino teenagers, like me, speak with American accent, most of them are trying hard. I can speak English with an American, Australian or British accent. I learned to switch accents by practicing and watching cable TV.

I also speak French, & a little bit of Korean & German.

Well "Japan is home", I am blessed with three mother tongues and two more languages that I can claim I have a moderate understanding of. Which languages are you intrigued by and which words would you be interested in learning the meaning of?

P.S. Unfortunately English is one of these.
