What churches or denominations allow you to get married in an outside setting?

Most churches or denominations don't have a problem with performing marriages in an outside setting. Just get the right person to perform the ritual.

Most Catholic priests will not witness an outdoor wedding unless there is a compelling reason.

I have been told that this is because marriage is a sacrament and is very closely linked with the mass (ideally) and the community and therefore, should take place within a house of God. I kinda get it, but at the same time, God created all of nature so what's the problem? I think the rule is still in force in order to prevent "slippery slope" situations.

The catholic religion will not let you get married outside. In the catholic religion marriage is considered one of the sacraments, and considered sacred, so a priest is not permitted to marry you outside the church. Now, if you are catholic, you can have a marriage outside of the church done by a minister, justice of the peace etc..and then later on have it blessed by the church. Other than that, most other religions methodist,baptist etc permit it (outside that is)

Any church or denomination that restricts the wedding ceremony to an indoor setting only needs to go back to Genesis 2 and explain Adam and Eve.

And you ought to run from that church or denomination quickly.

Catholic and Latter Day Saints don't allow weddings to be held outdoors. Nearly every other denomination allows it though.

Hi,,,, as far as I know,, all the Protestant religions have nothing that is against outside or garden weddings... I have been to lots of them in the past....
