If it properly detects your hardware and has non-broken drivers for it, it's quite easy to install. just boot up with the CD and follow the prompts.
You can't physically damage your computer by installing, and if there are no files already on there you want to save, you can't hurt anything. Just try it and learn :)

Not hard. When you are in Windows put the installation CD in the drive. A box will appear asking what you want to do. Repair or install new copy of Windows. The you be notified that such an action will erase all you current data from the PC. If you confirm to do so, the installation will launch. Then just follow the installation by answering questions.

it truly is extremely uncomplicated. First enter the BIOS and make the boot priority to your optical tension, plenty less demanding. according to threat no longer uncomplicated to flow into abode windows XP setup if Vista is already loaded and boot priority is for the HD. next put in the abode windows XP CD (wish it truly is a sparkling replica with a sparkling key code). enable it do it truly is stuff and than might desire to get a show screen asserting the place you opt to place in XP. at that factor you're able to do it commonly or partition a ingredient of the HD by using following the onscreen classes. Hit enter than XP will initiate installation. in case you opt to do extra advance installation, like RAID or SCSI controllers. you will locate the floppy exe acquire on the MB's website commonly. you will might desire to create a Floppy with the controllers on it (definite floppy disk would be mandatory) XP does no longer help flash tension (USB) like Vista while installation the controllers. acquire and make a floppy exe that has the third party controllers and while XP asks in case you opt to load third party controllers press F6 and you will conflict by using that setup. If I remember it truly is till now you enter the partition component of the installation so be looking at. If I remember, you are able to uninstall Vista and deploy it on yet another pc without beaking any EULA

Someone told you it was very difficult? He just wants your money man I would never use this guy for help again. Simply boot with the XP disc in the tray and choose to boot from disc if it prompts you. Follow the instructions for a new installation. Very simple.

If your computer is relatively modern, you should have no problem. The installation program is a series of prompts that asks you what language you prefer, what time zone you are in, if you are going to be linking computers together, etc etc.
The problem comes when one of the devices in the computer is not supported by Windows. But unless it is a really old computer, you should not have this problem.

I would believe the $80 bucks part but it really does not take very long. 2 hours to reformat with clean install.
If you have the disks that came with the computer then all you have to do is follow the what is asked and you can do it.
Put disk in and reformat C: drive ort whatever is your drive and just follow what is asked.
The computer does all of the hard stuff.

It's very easy, nothing to worry. I installed it myself and for the first time too. It's not hard at all.
Good luck.
