What are some ways to play hard to get (for a guy)? How far can you go without seeming like you don't care? I guess another way to ask this is How can you get a girl to chase you (without having her lose interest)?

Its easy, sexual hints make all the difference. Make little jokes that suggest you want to see her naked or atleast in a sexual cute way. If she responds by joking back then you have a score for the team.
Just show her you are slightly interested, if she calls you, call her. Do not call 10 times a day. I would call every other day.

Verdict
Granted, she goes out dressed to kill with her guns pointing right in your direction, but that doesn't mean she wants you to approach her. She wants men to look her way and she would be upset if they didn't. But when men do gawk and approach, she doesn't want to be made to feel like a piece of meat. She's therefore going to be standoffish, unless you don't treat her like a mission of yours.

If you go on for a long time playing hard to get, a girl can lose interest and go on looking elsewhere. It's ok to play the game for a little bit but don't go overboard.
