Some think they killed Jesus, when in fact, they did not. The bible teaches that He freely gave his life and also that we should love each other. Jesus said, "That's how I'll know you're mine, if you love one another."
I respect everyone's beliefs, even if I don't agree.

The Catholic Church officially teaches:
When she delves into her own mystery, the Church, the People of God in the New Covenant, discovers her link with the Jewish People, "the first to hear the Word of God.
The Jewish faith, unlike other non-Christian religions, is already a response to God's revelation in the Old Covenant.
To the Jews "belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ"; "for the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable."
Neither all Jews indiscriminately at that time, nor Jews today, can be charged with the crimes committed during the Passion of Jesus Christ. The Jews should not be spoken of as rejected or accursed as if this followed from Holy Scripture.
With love in Christ.

Essentially, all Christians are anti-Semitic by definition because they feel the Jews have the wrong idea about Jesus.
Christians think Jesus was the messiah. Jews don't. Jesus had to be a Jew because he was the messiah, so Christianity couldn't exactly start until he came along. That is where the two diverged. Jews - Jesus not savior, Christians - Jesus is savior. So saying Jesus was a Jew means nothing to Christians who think the Jews are wrong.

Some Christians really blame them for Jesus's death not realizing that many Jews like Mary (Jesus's mother), Mary Magdalene and the 11 disciples also supported Jesus (eventually)...it was only the corrupt elders and the bought peasants who shouted for Jesus's death; others were fooled by obviously fake and unreal pieces of anti-jewish propaganda like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (certain Arabs and posters like Soldier of God fall for this stuff all the time.) Others are simply stupid and racist...
I am a Catholic Christian and I am not anti-Jewish (nor am I anti-Muslim or anti-any religion/belief system)...I even sympathize and support them sometimes (which should disprove that idiot whynotaskdon...). Nonetheless racism and religious hate of any stripe or source must be stamped out down to the last unrepentant fool (this includes Soldier of God and whynotaskdon)...

I'm a Christian and I'm not anti-semetic.You can't put everyone in same bag.
there are true devoted christians and there are still searchin/missinformed christians, and there are those christians who been just posing to be christians, etc etc just like in any other faiths there are good and bad people.
I tell you that if you are a TRUE Christian you can't say you love God and at the same time hate any human being on the face of this planet, because every single one of us was made of God's image and you would be lying if you said you love God but hated anyone.
GOD BLESS.

Well, there is no good answer to that, However, I would wager to say that it's a "denominational" thing. MANY Christians will not attend a Church of a denomination other than their own. I know of people that won't even attend a wedding or funeral--even for a family member or friend-- if it isn't at a Church of their preferred denomination. AND, probably because our Jewish friends have gotten a bad rap for years. Stoopid, ain't it?

I think it is because it was the jews that were asked by pilot who shall we set free jesus or barabus? and jews chose barabus so ultimately the christians are blaming the jews for jesus being crucified. Even though if it hadn't been for that then Jesus could not have died for our sins.

Christians are not anti-semetic.. christians are taught in the bible to love thy neighbor.. and it makes no exceptions on race religious beliefs or anything.. christianity is not like a religion to be christian is to basicly love christ... to realize wat he has done for us... to be a christian is to be a follower of jesus and Jesus was never prejudice nor racist.. he loved every1 he 4gave and 4get like the bible also teaches us... in da church i attend we had a service on dis conflict... people who are prejudice are not true christians because christ wasnt prejudice.. so any "christians" u see who are anti semetic are not christians they may say they are but God wasnt killed... he died for us... he is our lamb... wit no bruise nor blemish... he is perfect...and that is the truth...

Because the Bible says we are "grafted in" to God's family, we inherit the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
No Christian should hate the Jews. They are STILL God's Chosen People.

It comes from the historical perspective of each religion. If you're a Christian, Jews killed your god.
Hatred is a fantastic motivator.
