four of them

all involving attempted suicide. three of them my memory is destroyed. the first one i was dead for 8 minutes and in a coma for 4 weeks. I did not float above my body or see a light at the end of a tunnel. I instead remember being in a place that was very much like being underwater. it was all very blue. there were wisp like creatures all around me that looked like they were wearing long silk lace veils or something, some were kinda jellyfish like and some were more like underwater birds with very long ribbon tails. There were many different kinds. A few were very human like but small like a water pixie or something. They were more curious about me than I was about them. The "water" was cool without being cold but warm when i needed it to be. I didn't need to breath and everything was very quiet except for soft music like conversation between all the creatures. I felt peacefull, at home and totally content to stay there forever. the light faded and I woke up. I had amnesia for about a year. To this day I have no contact with my family or old friends from before the accident because I don't really remember them very well. Someday soon I will go back.

whynotaskdon does not have a clue, or any friends either

When I was 14 years old, I was in the hospital in a diabetic coma. They had called in a minister and everything. My sugar was running over 800 and they couldn't get it lowered. They finally figured out that I was allergic to the insulin that I was on at the time. I don't remember a whole lot about it but they said that I kept doing the alphabet backwards!

Yes and anyone who comments on it who hasn't had one doesn't know what they are talking about. Personal experience in this area cannot be substituted by speculation. I went down a long tunnel towards a bright light and arrived at a Door. The door didn't open and I had to go back when I came to. I had been dead for a few minutes - my heart having stopped. I believed that I had gone to heaven but it was not my time yet.

whynotaskdon has perpetual oxygen deprivation so don’t pay him any mind. I have lucid dreams, which sometime cause an out of body like experience. I know that not what you ask for, but really, how many times in do we get what we ask for???

I hope you find what you seek.
Peace, and may The Force be with ya!!!

No but I have read a lot about them. Some people have had really good nde's & some have had some really bad ones. Sharon Stone even had one because of a brain aneurysm. I think she even said she isn't afraid of death anymore. If it ever happens to me I hope it's a good one!!

Experts all agree with Don

The After Effects:
I think we can now see why an essentially physiological event can change people’s lives so profoundly. The experience has jolted their usual (and erroneous) view of the relationship between themselves and the world. We all too easily assume that we are some kind of persistent entity inhabiting a perishable body.

I had a massive heart attack. My right coronary artery was blocked at 99%. I would prefer not to elaborate on what happened while I was trying to leave this plane of existence in a public forum.

I have seen a near-death experience. One of my friends dropped like a fly after p.e. she was out cold. She passed out in my arms and the stupid teacher! You know when they say oh break is in 10 min. just go to the bathroom then. Well she told me to wait untill break to take her to the nurse. Even though she passed out! I HATE THAT STUPID TEACHER!
