How do I determine if he wants a serious relationship & learn to trust him again?

We've been dating for 9 months. Four months into it I found out about another woman he had been sleeping with while he was telling me I was the only one. Since I've been cheated on in every previous relationship it's been hard for me to learn to trust completely especially after finding out about his lies. After everything came out he spent all of his time with me for 4 months straight. We've been in different states for the past 2 months & he became distant. He says it's something he has to work out within himself & has nothing to do with me or any other woman. He says nothing has changed between us. However I went through his phone & saw that he has been communicating with several other women on what I see as a romantic level. We had an argument about it & he claims they all know about me but I don't believe him. I decided to give him a clean slate in order to stop the arguing & start trusting him again. I was told to give him space & he'll come back but I don't think it's working.

Please get up and leave this loser. He is totally playing u and getting away with it. You need to be on your own for a little while to really get to know you and what makes u happy. Don't let a man bring you down like that. Be strong and brave for you and only you.

I think you basically answered your own question- the hard part is listening and accepting it.

The fact you went thru his phone- shows there is no trust ( for good reason) - but why waste your time!?!

Its going to be tough as hell- but be a strong woman - and move on. He is trying to be nice and say he 'has stuff to work out' - let him go work it out. Go do your thing..if he comes back THEN worry about trusting him. For know you should get out and start dating- guys love to be part of rebound sex!! lol!
