If they put chips in all our troops, then with a powerful enough reader, the enemy could discover the location of all our troops. Think about it. It would give the enemy a distinct advantage.

RFID chips and readers are available commercially, even on the Internet. Just type it into your browswer and you will find dozens of sources. The chips available commercially are lower power. You would have to be close to the chip to be able to read it. With our current technology, more powerful ones are bigger, and would not be suitable for chipping. Have you seen the TV show, Meerkat Manor? Flower, the leader of the group, has a tracking collar around her neck. It is not as large as it appears on screen because Flower is only 12 inches tall, but it is still too big to implant.

Your vet can put a chip in your cat, but it would not tell you where she goes at night. It would be useful to an animal shelter in locating you if she should become lost.

I don't know the answer to this question and I hope that anyone who does, doesn't answer the question. It's bad enough CNN, Fox News, and other news agencies put our troops in harms way with the information that they disseminate.

Yes you can get one for your cat. go to your vet. they can put a chip in your cat to track it. as far as asking questions about military operations and policies, your probably not going to get an answer here. and if you do, I wouldn't trust the answer that you got.
