The guy is delusional.
Look for this:
Gary Metz, "Jack Chick's anti-Catholic book Is Exposed as Fraud", Christianity Today, 13 March 1981.

EWWWWWWWWCCCCHHHHHH!
(If you'll take the opinion of a former Lutheran who's now a happy Pagan.)
I cannot think of anything that'd be MORE likely to turn people OFF Christianity than these poorly written, illogical, bigoted pamphlets. I've read almost all in print, and they vary from comically bad to truly g-dawful. (Personal collection is filed under "propaganda" in my library; track the newest releases online when people at Snopes.com indicate that something's up.)

Yes, I've seen it, and many other tracts from Chick publications. he's a little too anti-Catholic and one-sided for me.

They're scary and very offensive. They are not honest about other religions, and the people making them simply must just make up things about other religions! There is no research put into these things. When I first saw them, I thought they were satire, but they're not and that's scary!

I like them, they give you perspective. But, like I always say, research for yourself. They helped put me on the right path.
