your legs have blood rushing into them all day (gravity)
to get energy into your upper body you need more blood up there
here's a great way to re-energize yourself...
(all you need is a chair of any kind and 25 minutes)
-lay your back on the ground and put your feet / lower legs on the seat of the chair.
-because of the blood flowing back into your upper body you'll become very relaxed
-take a 20 minute catnap
-wake up
-stretch your arms way out
-get up and feel completely refreshed

Stretching and yoga are poor ways to increase energy; these are stress reducers, not energy gainers. It is worthwhile to determine if you have low blood pressure, and if so, find sensible ways to treat it. Secondly, eat the right foods and you will feel more energy. Eat foods that are balanced and highly nutrituous (no potato chips, no ice cream, no sausage, no candy, no pasteries). Also, try drinking some coffee to stimulate yourself and go for a long walk. After you've done this several times, you may feel enthused by just the idea of the walk, and you won't need the coffee.

Yoga is stretching !
Energy creates energy. So exercise, and then stretch out so as not to be cramped after exertion. Walk for a 1/2 hour every day, in a short time you will notice changes in your legs and energy levels. Shoot hoops. You should also look at your diet. Empty calories will not energy make. If you eat crap, thats the level your energy will get to. Do you get enough sleep. Check that out too. Usually its not just one thing that brings us to where we are with our bodies, its a combination of things, exercise, or lack thereof, diet, sleep, etc. Perhaps you need to boost your body with vitamins and minerals, you just have to examine where you're going wrong and fix it. Walking, stretching, soaking in warm water to increase circulation followed by a cooling shower will help cause a flushing action with blood circulation and that will help with suppressed energy therein.j
Like I said, its usually not one causitive, its several or more. Food and exercise diaries examined after a week, then two and so on, after you make changes will give you an insight on whats going on.

you can take anything with high amount of vitamin b-12 in it or you can actually buy b-12 vitamins, i tried losing weight and was taking chromium picolinate (it's an over the counter thing) and not only did it help but i had more energy in the morning when i got up. I'm not a morning person but damn if i didn't feel good

Go walking or jogging to release endorphines into your body--that will help with the energy (aka exercise regularly). Also, doing some hard work with your legs will help that energy in your legs.

yoga is a great way for you to stretch and to escrcise and yes, excercising will gie you more energy. Also, get enough sleep...but not TOO much, if you sleep more than the body needs, you feel sluggish.
