if adam and eve were the first people to come on the earth.then whoever or how many thier children might have been they would speak the same language as their parents did then yso many languages today.

According to the holy bible, God created Adam and Eve who
both spoke with one language and thereafter their decendants also spoke the same language.
Then, something strange happened during that period when
the people thought they were clever enough to build this great
building, called the Tower of Babel in ancient Iraq to honour
God.
They wanted to build the Tower of Babel as high as possible
to reach heaven in the sky, so that they could be close to God
and worship Him. But God had other plans in mind. Overnight,
God changed the scenario completely by making the people
speak different languages and dialects among themselves.
In this way, it caused confusion and misunderstanding and
they were unable to communicate with each other.
The construction of the Tower of Babel came to a complete
stop and it destroyed the people's desire of completing it.
Today, the people of the world speak many different languages.

Language evolved about 100,000 years ago in Africa. Since that time, each generation of speakers uses the language slightly differently than the previous generation. As people separate into different communities their languages begin to diverge from one another. Over the course of time, the differences accumulate to the point that they can no longer understand one another.

Remember, the story about the Tower of Babel and Nimrod? When Nimrod went against God, he created different languages to confuse the builders and they each went their separate ways, with those who could speak their respective languages?

long time ago tribes stayed isolated and 1 language become 2
like english and german or latinbecomespanish,portugies,
romanian,and french or hungariand become fin or slav lenguages
become russian,serbian,bulgarian and polish
it is all about isolation
