Iam not scared of death at all. I have faced death many times. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 15 years ago and prepared to die, but I received a miracle healing from God. Death is nothing to be afraid of when you have God in your life. Death will take you to your eternal life of living with God.

Death shouldn't be feared. Think about it , he has been with you since the moment of your birth. That moment of intuition that kept you from walking in front of a car was death keeping you from harm. And all the other times you avoided similar situation and problems was the guidance of death. When it is your time to pass; he will be there to help you on your journey. He isn't scary. He is the oldest friend you have or ever will have, he is always there through thick or thin, love or loss. Love and respect him as such.

Exactly so why fear it? I say embrace death. Well I mean not to the point that you bring it on yourself but that would be crazy. You can live the best and cleanest live and at the end of the day what did you do? Lived a BORING life that you proably didn't enjoy and guess what YOU'RE STILL GOING TO DIE. So enjoy life well you can. One of my favorite quotes from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy was "Life is wasted on the living." It's kinda funny. We claim youth is wasted on the young. Yet you get older and you still don't take any chances, instead you say of I should have done that when I had the chance. Well a kid couldn't have done it but YOU could and instead you don't.

We christians have the belief after death we will be taken somewhere and when God is coming for the second time we will be waken up from our deathsleep and join the God,So we believe that we will meet our dear and near ones in heaven,So we need not be afraid,We will feel sad if we go leaving everyone behind,But why we should be afraid? Be bold and live a long nice life.

looking forward to it. its total peace. people only have fear of dying actually not death. people are more scared of living then dying. death is after dying. you can be scared of dying but not death as death is the final act of life.

Not really. I'm not saying that I want it to happen any time soon, but I'm more scared of the method of dying than of death itself, if that makes any sense.

i do not know death....i just have seen people dying....but how can i say that i fear or nor fear .... if i fear then i want to "fear not"....these are stands taken by mind ....and mind is nothing but past collection of sensations....
...i am alive and be fully alive during my only "life time gift" called "death"
...as it goes to get an idea and sticking with it will not help in this case...it is death case....
...be you live for 100 years with good health....then please die very vigilantly to get your "best answer" you only can have it ....all others are nothing but speculations of many kinds....i have no fight with them.....how can i dispute....i do not know anything to make a final decision......

You say DEATH can come to anyone anytime! So very true friend! ITS AN ETERNAL TRUTH and we all succumb to death! One favorite dialogue from the BOLLYWOOD film of the late 70s - "ANAND" - made by HRISHIKESH MUKHERJEE and the starcast was Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bacchan, etc. Incidentally the famous HRISHIKESH MUKHERJEE too succumbed to the ETERNAL TRUTH - DEATH just yesterday!!! As a tribute to him here's the dialogue -"JINDAGI aur MAUT tho UPPARWALEY ke HAATH mein hain JAHANPANNAH...ussey Na tho AAP badal saktey hain na hum!"
