I went out with this chick to the cinemas, and we held hands and were close........i tried to maintain eye contact for a proper kiss, but she just watched the movie. Later we went to dinner, and then for a walk around the harbour holding hands. We pecked on the lips as she was about to leave. I dunno whether she still likes me or not.

kissing at the movies is NOT a proper kiss. ask her out again and try kissing her when you aren't in such a public place. I bet she likes you or you wouldn't have even gotten a peck. your idea of proper and her idea of proper may be different. You'll know if she likes you if she accepts your second date offer. she could be shy?? have you talked to her since and she wants to hang out with then maybe she was just shy if not then she wasnt enjoying the date
