Do any of you know what the hell Soma is??? I've heard its a muscle relaxer/pain reliever. Does anyone know for sure/ I have a really bad back and have tried muscle relaxers, they don't work. The only thing that has ever worked for me is vicodin.

My wife used it when she injured her back. It's for acute muscle pain. It worked well, but she had really bad headaches and vomitted a few times.

Vicodin is a pain reliever. Soma is a good muscle relaxant which, when used in conjunction with Vicodin, enhances the benefits. I, too, have a terrible back problem and use Lortab and Soma. They work better together than either works alone.

Soma is a pain reliever and muscle relaxer. It will knock you on your ****. Also, interestingly, it was a drug that was used to control the peoples emotions in the book Brave New World.

I was put on Soma after a car accident for a neck injury. It works wonders but temporarily makes you tired and dizzy. Just be careful you don't become dependant on it.

Honey, you ask far too many questions about drugs. I think you may have a problem with that. Contact your physician right now, make an appointment. If you truly do have back pain AND are having so much trouble sleeping, you should seek medical help.

i take soma w/codine....relaxes and kills the pain at the same time ..works for me
