Air Force: the best are the installations -- country clubs, the worst is all the other services think they are wimps.
Navy: the best is the travel, the worst is the long deployments.
Marines: the best is the dress uniforms -- swords for NCOs, the worst is knowing that you wern't smart enought to get into the Army.
Army: the best is the infantry! the worst is the infantry!

The best part of the military is being in the air force, piloting A-10's blowing things up with bombs, rockets. Just flying planes over Iraq bringing "Death from above"
worst part would be in the navy, stationed on a ship for lenghty periods and on a ship where every one smells. Sea sick is another thing that is bad about the navy

The best.....travel to foreign countries
The worst.....deployments....my last one was 174 days at sea, 18 in port, divided by 2 days here, 3 days there, etc

I can only speak for the NAVY, best thing is travel to lots of countries, worst thing is living in a room with 100 other stinky shipmates! :(
