We are all out of step with God to one degree or another in one or more areas in our lives. There are moments when we are more in step and those are the moments when we can be a good influence on others. Even our mistakes can help others.

Everybody is out of step with God to some extent. So yes, you can, by God's grace (even if you don't believe in God) be a good influence. Without God's grace, nobody can.

Yes.
My first inclination was to say no, but in thinking about it.
A mass murder, Adolph Hilter, Charlie Manson, a hard core 5 time loser in Prison who picks up a young child and passes them up to saftey is an influence on eveyrone. Even the child.
So, yea, it is possible.
I can't see any evil person who looks down into the eyes of a 2 or 3 year old girl who is lost and crying who hepls them reach safety.
That is an influence.
So, yea, it's possible.

"There is something feeble and a little contemptible about a man who cannot face the perils of life without the help of comfortable myths. Almost inevitably some part of him is aware that they are myths and that he believes them only because they are comforting. But he dares not face this thought! Moreover, since he is aware, however dimly, that his opinions are not rational, he becomes furious when they are disputed." ~ Bertrand Russell, Human Society in Ethics and Politics (1954), quoted from James A. Haught, "Breaking the Last Taboo" (1996)

Not if you want to lead them to have a relationship with God. If that is not your purpose than it would depend on your definition of "good influence".

Yes you can since we are never going to be sinless or perfect in this flesh. It's important to not wait until we are to start being a good influence

No. Everything done by the wicked is sin, even plowing!!:
Prov 21:4 "An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin." KJV
BUT . . . "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Rom 8:28 KJV
