Some years ago, Datsun had a recall to fix this problem. A kit was supplied that replaced all of the engine fuel lines. The problem occurred when the engine was cold and the fuel lines stopped leaking as the engine warmed up. This recall should have been done. The fuel lines came braided on the outside and the replacements were smooth and used a worm type clamp. It is a time consuming job and you don't replace the injectors. The parts you need are metric sized fuel hose and new clamps. Look at all the fuel lines and check that they are not torn or have holes. Then try to tighten the clamps, start the engine and see if the leaks stop. If they do it's just a temp. fix. If thy don't stop, you'll need a tow.... Copy this answer and take it to your mechanic. If your problem is as I have described this will tell him what to do. If he wants to confirm the problem and the cure, e-mail me at mark.williams5@worldnet.att.net and I will try to help out. the labor to do the job is not the problem. Finding metric size fuel hose is. Good Luck Mark

If your car was in Fort Worth Texas I would say lets replace all those injectors and plugs on the ends too! There are mechanics that can do the job but you must do all six injectors and think about getting a fuel pressure regulator at the same time and to top off the job a new set of fuel hoses to the new fuel filter too.

it probably won't explode. i had a similar problem with my chevy cavalier. fuel injector leaked for a couple years while i was too broke to fix it. leak can cause many other problems though. in may case leaking gasoline fouled the plugs and fried the coil pack and wires.
try a nissan (datsun is nissan now) dealership. they're more expensive than a mechanic but don't usually rip you off and have much more resources than a garage mechanic. you may find out the car is not worth fixing. if repairs run more than about $1500 you're starting to overrun the value of the car.

All it should need is a new fuel injector, that shouldn't be to hard to find. Try a online parts store. I looked on autozone.com, they have them for about $45 a piece. You should replace all 6 of them to be on the safe side. Any mechanic should be able to replace them for you. Heck, you might be able to do it yourself, if you have any questions, I can walk you though the process
