Do u think 10 years in age difference is too much? He's 27 and im 17. I think he likes me but is afraid to pursue a relationship. Is it not very likely that a 27 year old guy would like a younger girl?

haha. whooa people. who the hell said i was gonna have sex with him? damn. lets not assume crap. I think it was my mistake to find "answers" to my questions here. All i got was silly assumptions and stupid opinions from people who only believe relationships revolve around sex.

I'm 39 and have dated a few girls 18 - 20, actually most all of them are under 25.
Problem is if you are settled they aren't yet. It's always fun though. :)

yes he would love a younger woman. But he is playing it smart and not going to jail. 17 is still too young. I was married to a woman that was 12 years younger then I am and there was lots of problems. She had young kids and mine was out on their own. She was still a little on the wild side and I was at a slower pace and wanting a wife not a prize to show off at a club. She was a prize but I wanted to go home after work not out partying everynight. You have to be on equal grounds or there will be problems. In your case he will not be able to hang with your friends because he is too old and would end up in trouble. Beer or what ever.. YOu could not go to a club with him because you are too young. So at your age the age will matter a lot. At my age being she was 30 and I was 42 we had problems but not like you would have .

27 and 17 is a big age difference coz of the ways they are (supposed to be) maturing at those ages. It's also illegal and can land him in jail, so if you care about him, you'll at least wait till you're legal.
It sounds like you don't have to worry about it though coz he is not interested in going to jail or in someone so much younger. You never said why you think he likes you too.

He probably does like a 17 year old girl. The only thing is your not of legal age. So wait on till your 18 and then go for it. Lot of luck waiting.

yeah it's a huge difference considering you are a teen though not so much of a difference later in life. To be legal, you have to turn 18 first. Still I would advise against it till you are in your mid 20s or something. THen you can date guys that are even 15 years older than you :)

If a 27 yr old guy like a 17 yr old girl it is for one thing and one thing only...sex. I would ditch him and find someone about my age or a year or two older and try that.

wooooooahhh! that is way too big of a difference at your age! if he were 60 and you were 50 it would be normal.
if he would want a younger girl, he probably wants SEX. think about it. how old are girls in porn? usually 18 years old. that's usually guys' favorite type of porn to look at is the youngest girls

Don't be attracted to a guy who is not interested in girls in his own age group. You are too young for someone so old right now. Do you really want someone who is unable to get a girl his own age? And don't say he can date any girl his age because if he could, he would.

10 years are not that big difference but he can go JAIL if he go out with you now. Why you are attracted to older guy? Why not boys around your age???
