Israeli vs iran?

Question

who would win?
if Israeli goes after iran.
iraq supposedly had one of the best armies. before persian gulf #1.
and they got their asses kicked.
iran does not have as good of an army as iraq did.
would Israeli bomb them into the stone age?

ISRAEL!!!!!!!! they've got me on their side. I would give my life to defend my country and so would all of my friends who fight alongside me in the Israeli Defense Force. Think about it, when has Israel lost a fight that really mattered? We don't lose because we have heart and GOD on our side and we all feel such a strong connection to the country that we live in! We won't let the Israeli people down! Wish us luck!

The problem would be the same as the one in Iraq. We can bombard the Iraqis into submission, but that won't go over very well with the rest of the world. The Israelis could bombard them into the stone age, but it would be difficult to do that without serious consequences with the international community, possibly as drastic as a removal of Israel from the map. If they went in as we went into Iraq, the result would be somewhat similar. A spectacular and quick victory over the organized government, but then a long, hard campaign over resistance movements. It would be even harder than Iraq, because the Iranians are more unified than the Iraqis, and people there probably hate Israel more than America. It would end up in a long, hard-fought campaign, and many would die on both sides. Finally, Israel, in my personal opinion, would be forced out like we were forced out of Vietnam.

Under conventional thinking, Israel had the upper hand but now look at the latest. Bush and Olmert both have made fools of themselves and degraded US in eyes of many nations and people, particularly after their latest Lebanon misadventure. US has lost its diplomatic persuasion with most of the Arab countries. What have they accomplished after killing so many innocent civilians including children ( Israelis and Lebanese ) and destroying a beautiful country ? To ensure an effective defence, which most of the Arab armies are incapable of doing, Lebanon should induct all the Hezbollah fighters into the Lebanese army. This may deter Israel from picking on Lebanon, which it has done 4 times uptill now. US now is a dog which its tail, Israel, is capable of wagging the dog through the strong Jewish lobby. Israel would now think twice before picking on unarmed civilians.

Look on a map. That is the only thing Iran has to attack in order to put a big hurt on the rest of the world. They don't have to attack Israel, just their own beach. If they shut down the flow of oil tankers through the strait, then the price of oil goes sky high (it isn't much different than it was in the '70's right now), the United States goes bankrupt, and Israel is gone because the only thing keeping the rest of the Arab world out of Israel's face is our weapons and money.
It's always about the money, and the money depends on oil, and the oil depends on the strait.

With its military might and all, so what happened in Lebanon?
The capabilities of Iran are not known and If this conflict occurred time would tell who would be bombed into the stone age or wiped off the face of the earth.
