Stop taking the vitamins. If they are cheap, they have cheap additives in them that your body is sensitive to. Get a good brand, like Twinlab, Schiff which are more pure and recommended by health care professionals often. That is if you still want to try taking vites. You need to decide what your goal is and then decide what type to take, whether it be with extra minerals, ex. calcium, buffered, extra E, you get the idea. If they have extra iron, a lot of people are sensitive to it and you could have a problem. It would behoove you to figure out what it is you are sensitive to, which component. Meanwhile, and good luck with that, a good brand is better than a bad one. One without junk in it. If nothing else, eat cereal fortified with vitamins, like Total. Thats a start. Perhaps a vitamin enriched powder shake, mix with fruit and rice milk and enjoy. You'll assimilate it quicker, easier and you'll have many benefits from that, if pills aggrevate your body. Remember, you can develop a sensitivity to something at any time. One day something won't bother you, then for no reason, you can have an allergy/sensitivity to it. Weird, I know. Always drink, drink, drink lots of water when taking vitamins and supplements. They need food and water to make it all work for you. Package deal, if you will. Hope all of this helps.

Your body may be going into detox. Sometimes when you start taking vitamins you may break out or have a different body odour. If you continue with the vitamins this will eventually stop because your body will be rid of the toxins causing the problem. If you are taking something natural and safe it shouldn't be problematic.
However, you should always check with a doctor before starting any type of vitamin regime

No its not normal.
Its an odd thing, but not unheard of.
I found out through allergy testing and tons of doctor visits that I am very sensitive to Vitamin K and will get very ill if I take too much at one time (I can't even eat spinach or take supplements with it because its too much in one sitting).
Switch vitamin brands and see if that helps.

What type of vitamins are you taking? Regular multivitamins shouldn't do that to you. Do you have food alergies? If I were you, I would call the 1 (800) on the back of the bottle.

What else are you taking or eating? Vitamins should not and usually do not cause skin break outs.

No, you may be having an allergic reaction to one of the additives. Vitamins should help your skin not hurt them.
