Do Not RINSE!!! You could of caused a dry socket, they are very painful an very rare if you get one from a upper tooth that's been extracted. Continue antibiotics, as for pain just try Tylenol and call the dentist so he can check the sight. You need to eat before the meds taking vicodin on an empty stomache will cause you to vomit.

I had my wisdom teeth out recently and there was some addition swelling during the healing process. If you can stand the pain, I suggest waiting til your Thursday appointment. You can also call the office and ask if they can give you something else for the pain since the the viacodin makes you sick.

I took an advil knock off brand for my pain, but I'm not a doctor so I don't want to give you advice on specific meds.

The pain is probably caused by swelling (and all the dentists pushing and pulling) if you haven't been taking Advil (or Motrin) you should it will help with the swelling also ice on the outside of your mouth will help. Eat cold things like frappes, Popsicles, ice cream, stay away from acidic things like tomatoes and orange juice it will sting. I would call the doctor tomorrow morning to tell them what is going on they may want to see you to make sure everything is OK. I hope this helps, good luck.

Are you talking about the back wisdom tooth? Cause when I had mine removed it hurt like heck!!! but salt water did the trick for a bit... I lived with the pain of all of mine taken out at once and the pain lasted 2 weeks... :(

You should call your dentist first thing in the morning. Infection in the head is a very serious affair. Don't settle for talking to the receptionist. Talk to the dentist. He will probably want you to come in.......I'd worry if the dentist doesn't want you to come in.

take the medication with some soft food and do your best to keep it down. and have a trash-can or something near by just in case. and see your dentist A.S.A.P.( I'm not a dentist )
