Did you just recently have a baby? Hair can grow really thick during pregnancy, so when the hormones adjust themselves, the hair tends to go back to normal, some women experience massive hair loss, and some have little to none...Hope this helps...:0)

The average person looses about 75-100 hairs a day.

My thought it is you think you are loosing too much you probably are.

Hormonal changes is the main cause of hair loss in women, and can be controlled, not cured. Soon after having a baby, or changing birth control pills, can cause he changes.

There is no magic shampoo that will cure your hairloss, but some may help.

Scalp hair is affected by DHT, where testosterone turns to dht, and binds to the hair follicles and nizoral a dandruff shampoo had dht blocking properties that will help.

There's some blood testing that you should consider getting done to see where you are, and perhaps finding whats causing it.

The average is actually anywhere from 25 to 200 strands a day. If your hair is coming out in clumps and pieces then something is wrong. This could be due to hormonal changes (a woman's hair will change on average seven times in her lifetime, texture and otherwise), dramatic weight loss (because of the lack of protein), pregnancy, thyroid problems etc. If your hair has been chemically treated many times over, your hair is more prone to breakage, which might be what you're experiencing. There are products out there that will help regenerate hair (Nioxin, for example). Good Luck.

It is normal to lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day as part of normal hair renewal. Excessive hair loss, however, can lead to balding in men and women. Although there is much research that still needs to be done in the field, doctors can suggest medications to restrain the condition.

I was taught that hair grows for seven years then falls out. Also that hair can fall out during hormonal changes. Also that nutritional deficiencies and stress can cause this also. Are you under stress then find ways to decrease it. What happens under stress is the skin and scalp tighten thus decreasing blood flow and nutrients to the hair to where it dies and falls out. Exercise a steam room etc. can help reduce stress and increase blood flow to the scalp. Also massage to the scalp proper massage techniques can help increase blood flow to the scalp.
