I'd look at either Betty Crocker , Rachel Ray, Martha Stewart or Jamie Olliver cookbooks or any of the Company's Coming cookbooks if you're Canadian.

Cater the meal.....if you feel like "making" something...
try :
different desserts, wines and cheeses, Mongolian "fire pot" style-fondue variations...????
a coffee/tea and danish tray ????
In other words ....you can "entertain" your guests best by being with them instead of running back and forth to and from the kitchen.....etc etc etc
If you feel obligated....check out a local Oriental market....they usually have pot stickers, spring rolls, et al....in 50/100 count bags....same with fortune cookies, rice crackers........
or
a "wrap" party
....really just a table with a "buffet" variety plenty of "flat breads"
with a wide selection of sauces
Good luck with a group that size no matter what you decide

try the Betty Crocker Cook Book , i call it my cook book bible , this cook book has a variation of every recipe you could think of .from appetizers to main dishes . Fun to cook from , it's so good your guest will think you catered in, this book is also educational if you need to know any thing about your menu.

Try and make it simple pick 3 dishes that everyone would like (I usually pick lasagna as one) and just make more cold salads that you can use as ordure's and set it on the dinner table also. Also if you have time make cheese balls or salsa and chips so on then you wont have to make so much food. This is what I usually do because people enjoy snacks more than the mane course;-)
GOOD LUCK!
