I learned to march in marching band, not the military, but hopefully this will help a little.

Make sure you're in line to begin with (yeah, basic stuff), try and take steps that are equal to those of the people on either side of you, and use your peripheral vision to make sure you're still lined up with the guy on your right. It may be hard at first, but after awhile it'll come fairly naturally. (At least, for me it did.)

Stay in steop, and take the same size steps as everybody else.

You can look out of the corner of your eye (don't turn your head) to your right to see how you are doing.

the best thing to do would be to look to the left side of you out the corner of your eye but dont move your head and line youself up with the person ahed of you and to the left side of your self.

Remember to dress it right, do not turn your head, in your peripheral vision you should be able to see the Soldier to your right. Very easy concept

You watch the back of hte guys head on front of you. Keep your sight s set on that and hope he's going straight.
