What turns a male dog on?

Question

I am trying to breed my two yorkshire terriers and my male won't mount my female. he is larger than she is and she is letting him do other stuff. but anyway how can i get my male dog to mount her, erect and actually have intercource? your answer is greatly appriecieted!

My male yorkie won't mate with my female yorkie. the female is in heat. how do i get my male to mount her, erect and have intercourse?

In my (admittedly limited) experience, anything on 4 legs! T-bone even tried to mount a cat!

You can't make a male dog have sex with a female in heat, it is an act guided purely by instinct and there's nothing you can do to control it. Some animals simply won't mate. You really shouldn't breed a larger male to your female. This is very dangerous, and will cause the pups to be too big for mom to deliver ... this will cause her to die!! You obviously have no idea what you're doing and are seriously, *seriously* endangering the life of your poor female. I really hope you wise up, and reconsider what you're doing. Consider yourself VERY lucky that your male hasn't yet been "turned on".

Don`t breed. There should be no reason for ANYONE to breed their animals except if you are trying to better the breed. Breeding the animals for money is selfish and not right. We already have a big enough problem with unwanted litters.

Do both dogs match the breed standard? Have they had all their testing done? How are you going to afford to get the puppies to the vet to get checked out and have their shots? How are you going to afford all the food, medicine, toys, supplies etc?

Our friends male sheltie had never mated before and couldn't figure it out either. Then when he figured out he could hump he kept trying to hump her head. They finally took them up to the vet to have her artificially inseminated and it was like a light bulb went off in the dogs head... So THAT'S where it goes and then he wouldn't stop. lol Anyways as to your question have you tried to put him in position? To let him know what he's supposed to be doing? If you have and nothing it working perhaps your little guy just doesn't want to give it up. Take them to the vet and you can have your girl artificially inseminated.

its not a good idea to use a larger male to a smaller female as the delivery can be horrible. as for your question, when its the right time for herhe should just preform. some are affraid of getting yelled at if they were told all along to get down or no no. does he have both of his testies? there is nothing you can do unles you involve your vet for an a.i. are you sure she is ready?when the bleeding is almost done?

Usually if the female is in heat you won't be able to keep the male away from her..maybe your female isn't in heat.

if u want him heard just jack him off geting them to mount if u have a bf u can show with him or get infron of him and wigle ur *** if he mounts u get out from underhim and bring him to the female

Wait until she is in heat. unless the male dog got snip snip. then he will not hump her. also some female dogs will not let some male dogs hump them.

better check if ur female is in heat if she really is then u might want to ask another breeder.. i hav a male yorkie but he is to stupid to know how to hav intercourse
