I want to go "raw"...consume only fruits, vegetables and nuts, all in their raw states (i.e. uncooked)

The only diet that will work is one that you can stick to. It should contain a variety of foods. You will have to consume less calories than you burn every day so activity is also important. Fad diets never work for long.

Everyone has their own metabolism & it varies with age. Eating only "raw" foods will change your metabolism. Veggies & fruits are great for you in doses. Be careful of the natural sugar intake -your body might not be able to digest all that drastically. Follow a doctors orders when changing your entire diet. Good luck & stay healthy!

The best diet that worked for me is what I call the high-stress divorce diet.

I lost a total of 70lbs in 6 months because I rarely ate, smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day and worked out 6 days a week.
I would not recommend this diet to anyone or would I have recommended it for myself. It kind of just happened. I have quit smoking now so that is good.

Basically, just watch your food portions, lower your fat intake, eat veggies and fruits and exercise. That's the healthy diet I now follow.

Don't do it. Your body won't be able to handle it, and you will become anemic. As great as those sites are, you don't want to do that. You need a healthy, balanced diet that includes eggs (cooked), meat, nuts, fiber, etc.

I lost almost 60 lbs by walking and eating better. I ate less junk food and more healthy foods. More fruits, more veggies, balanced meals with red meat and chicken.

My friend Jess and I walked 12 miles a week--4 miles mondays, wednesdays, and fridays.

Just stay active and eat better.

I went to Nutri-System.They provide the food for you.All you need is fruits and
vegetables.A friend joined with me which made it very helpful.We exercised together,ate together,went to meetings together,and she was an awesome support to me as I was too her, We lost all our weight and than some.

that's when i lost the most weight.

but no one should do that..it's pretty awful...

just work out more and eat better..the right things..no junk food...that's been working since

just eat,white rice for three weeks.and you go to be gorgeous,and slender.that worked for me.and looking good.
