You will know if he likes you by the way he treats you. As someone already said......it's been 5 years and he knows that you like him, if he wanted more from the friendship he would have approached you long ago.

If you are good friends with him and he knows you like him and has known for a while and hasn't said anything than he probably doesn't share the same feelings. If he were shy it probably wouldn't matter since he knows you like him. Just ask him.

Be open and honest, ask him straight up what are his feelings towards you. If theres hesitation.....then he dont want a "relationship" w/u, or hes the shy type! If you do start a b/f&g/f relationship......you still can be friends ya know!? :D

a very similar thing happen to me and i always waitted for him to make the move even though i knew he liked me make a move fast because he is not let him know how you feel and if its meant to be it will and if not then move on, dont make the same mistake i made and remained waitting for the perfect romatic approach do your thing because he is not knowadays us girl have to take the initial step do it. dont wait
