my dog is 6 years old and i've noticed sometimes when she's sleeping she pees on herself. she had a bladder stone before so i keep checking the ph of her urine and it seems to be within nomal levels and there is no blood or anything in it, is this just something that dogs do sometimes?

also she just had bloodwork done about 2 weeks ago and it came back normal and with the ph urine test she can't be having a bladder infection cause the ph would be different.

She's too young for incontinence, but she could have another problem that is putting pressure on her bladder. I'd certainly at least call my Vet and speak to him/her about this problem. They should be able to advise you.

Yes when they are younger it sometimes happens, get to a vet though, it could be something else going on. A vet could do a blood test to see if its something more serious.

having had bladder stones hers is just weakened.and leaks when she is sleeping. i wonder if there is an exercise you can do with her to strengthen up her bladder? in people it helps to clench and relax over and over. also in people cranberry REALLY helps bladder issues. you could give her cranberry tablets, couldn't hurt.
