Vodka. Mixes well with a lot of things and doesn't have strong taste and now they have flavored ones ranging from lime, to razberri, to strawberry.

Are you a girl? Try plum wine or wine spritzers. Most drinks are an acquired taste. The point of a mixed drink is to hide the taste, so if a mix is too strong tasting then the person making it doesnt have a clue. Most citrus juices can obscure a gin, rum or vodka.
Oh Cheap alchohol usually tastes strong. It is not a coincidence. You can drink a high priced rum or cognac straight. Cheap stuff must be mixed. If you dont like wine or beer, mix like everyone says. Soem mixes are fruity, soem chocolately, milky. Find a drink you would like on your own and add a little alchohol. I'd say rum or vodka can go in anything. Try captain morgan in coke.
ps soem drinks will get you laughed at as a boy, thats why I asked. Guys will indulge you, since they just want you drinking. Be careful, and remember sweet often = sick as hell.

Depends on what you want it for....

A nice, slightly fruity white wine is great all by itself. (Ask the friendly people at a slightly upscale spirits store for suggestions, not "Joe's Discount Booze", where they're selling from behind a bulletproof case. If you can't get suggestions, I'd recommend trying some of the California brands and seeing what you like.)

If you like hard liquor, and want something that is a good general-purpose mixer, go with vodka; it's essentially a neutral spirit (and you can control how strong). Vodka mixes with fruit juices, vegetable juices, beef broth (Bullshots), vermouth (martinis)....

For a hard liquor to be savored all by itself, in a nice snifter or small glass, consider a nice liqueur. Spend the couple of extra dollars and get brand names: the difference in taste between Amaretto Di Saranno (a top-notch almond liqueur) and a house brand almond liqueur is unbelievable. Consider buying the one-drink bottles at the liquor store: the initial cost may seem horrible, but it beats being out of pocket $15 for a booze you don't like.
Why not have a tasting party with a couple of good friends? You can each get a couple of different one-drink bottles of premium alcohols and swap tastes (1-ounce cordial glasses from the thrift store, in glass, are convenient and very cheap), without ruining your budget.

Asti Spumante (try the Martini brand), an Italian sparkling wine, sweet & fruity, you'll hardly tast the alcohol but still get mild buzz. try ice wines too. These are wines wherein the grapes are harvested very late therefore high in sugar (fruity too). Bailey's Irish Cream is another good drink, have it on the rocks. Do the same with Kahlua Coffee Liquer. You can also try a screw driver (vodka and orange juice with lots of ice) or cuba libre (rum, use light rum, cola, a twist of lemon and a little simple syrup). cheers.

i have several different drinks I enjoy, some tasting stronger than others and some having a higher alcohol content than others.

Puckers- Strawberry, Watermelon, Island Blue, Grape, Apple etc...mix with Sprite or Sierra Mist, this makes it taste like a flavored soda i.e. strawberry pucker and sprite tastes like strawberry soda, and its about 30 proof alcohol.

Melon Ball- Midori Melon Liquer, Vodka, and Pineapple juice, does not taste like alcohol and is very strong in alcohol content.

Jello Shots= use vodka or everclear and jello and water. recipe is at www.webtender.com you can buy little styrofoam espresso cups and fill them and they are single serve jello shots..and they are a big hit at parties, you cant taste the alcohol and you get OH SO DRUNK.

Hope this helps some!

I agree with other people... stuff that you can mix with non-alcoholic drinks. I've had kahlua milkshakes - you can taste it, but it's not very strong - or even better, Godiva chocolate liqueur. It's not strong at all and I couldn't even taste it in the milkshake my sister-in-law made!

7oz Orange juice
add an orange slice (not necessary)
kick back and enjoy.
or just make a pitcher.
