I have a Elite Pioneere Big Screen which has recently broken... It Will cost more to fix than it is worth. Who provides services to take it off my hands? It is a Biohazard apparently so i cant just throw it away. I live in scottsdale AZ but any ideas are appretiated.

Thanks

YES, DO NOT THROW IN DUMPSTER. This illegal, EPA laws govern the disposal of hazardous waste. TV has a phosphorous coating inside the screen which is harmful to the environment. many landfills will take them for a fee. example my county charges $10.00 to dispose of them, they go in a special container and are shipped to wherever.... (The moon????) but what ever anybody says, you need to call local government and find out... Just throwing into a dumpster can/will get you jailtime, FEDERAL OFFENSE.

Don't throw it in a dumpster. It may be illegal in your area to do that. Call your city offices and find out their regulations on TV disposal. There may be a site you can take it to.

Well, I'd stick it by the side of the road. In my neighborhood, any tv, working or not, is gone in an instant. If that doesn't feel right, I'd call your city's local government.
