Even though the film ripped off other original material like the APocalypse NOw movie and THe CAve and the Lord of the Rings (JRR TOLKIEN -CHRISTIAN) I cant help feeling that it was comparing raging insanity to being harassed or possessed by wicked little impish creatures/monsters. I believe the monsters were the barrier to the Character Sarah''s sanity. Anyhow I found it creepy and disturbing and in no way should kids watch it.

I saw the movie and though it was kinda boring I liked the fact that it gave a little example of what the worms will do to the people who are and will be in hell.

The one thing I did not understand nor believe it can happen in real life is the first graphic scene in which the pipes flew in and through the husband and kid's head. By the way, in spite that the 13 year old girl was in the movie, she was restricted by everyone to see the movie-let alone her part in it.

As far as the monsters being the barrier to the sanity of the Sarah chracter, I am not sure what you mean by that other than they represent her feelings, but it was, indeed, a disturbing movie and no, kids should not watch it, and that is why it is rated "R".

What I got from the movie was that Sarah's character was a way of showing what humans are in their sinful nature.

A movie is a movie. Made for $$$. Who cares. Religious people think everything is demonic. They go down the street and they're like "Oh my gosh, that paper looks demonic". So who cares what those dumbasses have to say?.

one would naturally equate the descent to hell, so it would strike a cord with the religious heads
