No........... most states do not recognize an individual giving their own rabies vaccinations. They have to be given by a trained veteranarian.

In Colorado you sure can but you have to keep records. And if the dog bites somebody they can still make you do the test to see if they have rabies. We all know that would have a bad out come. For the dog that is.

No, the rabies vaccine has to be given by a Vet for it to be considered legal. If you were to vaccinate and your dog bit someone, it will be treated as if it had no shot at all.

you can, but if they bite their is really no proof it was administered
alot of farmers will do this in the country, where they have less chance of interaction with strangers and hard to get to vet.
but again if they do bite, no proof.
best go to vet and get record of it being done. almost as cheap if you can find a vet that does a clinic, that gives shots on a certain day of the week.

yes you can if you know the site of injection. and the dosage... you can ask your vet about this, but some of the dogs might bite you in the process then you get the virus if your dog is infected.. make sure that your dog is properly restrained..
