Your life is important because you impact and influence the lives of others around you. I do not know your circumstances, but there are people around you whom are influenced by you. Without you, their lives would not be the same. There are things that you do, some without even knowing it, that would make the world different without you.
Your life is important because you are here. You are important because of your presence. What you do with your life has a natural impact on everything around you. No matter where you go, what you do, you influence and impact everything around you; other people, the environment, the economy, etc. No matter your position in life, whatever you do, including nothing, has an impact.
You are important because you are a child of God (disappointing religious answer coming up). God loves you, cares for you and is concerned about you. Because of your sins, and the sins of every person, Jesus Christ paid a dear price for you, whether you accept Him or not. You were bought with the precious blood of Christ, that makes you priceless. Would you feel more important if someone you knew died for you? Someone did die for you; consider that and then ask your self worth.
Those are why answers. I don't know how, because I don't know you. Maybe someone else will address that

Just by your living your life as you do, you never know what kind of impact you have had on the people you have come into contact with on a daily basis. Suppose the barrista at your coffee place is having a rotten day and you say something that helps make it all better. Suppose you drop a dollar, and that dollar is picked up by someone who hasn't eaten all day. You have a higher function and purpose on your life than you even know, because you cannot see the ripples that your pebble dropping in the pond may cause.

It's not your life that is important or not, but how you live it.
I wont preach to you, because it's hard to "understand' in you dont want to hear it.
But if you live your life to the fullest, and make a difference from everyone else, become someone special in the eyes of our Lord, then you will be granted some awesome overage in the next step - also known as heaven!

Your life is important because you only get one.
Well, I guess that's all I got, since I don't know you.
My life is important because I'm going to be the one that's going to take care of my sister when she grows up.
My life is important because if I had a self-destructive one, I would make my family and the 2 or 3 friends I have, sad.
I'm the one who has to take care of the fish I have, for the rest of their lives.
One of my fish is a "pacu" when he is full grown he will need a 250 to 350 gal Aquarium, if I don't take care of her who knows how her life would end up, no one could love my fishy as much as I do.

It is not that your life is so important it is what you do with it that is important. You can either be a loser and take drugs and become a dope dealer and everyone wish you were never born.
]Or you can be a good husband and father and your kids love you and work hard and be generous to others. When you die they all weep because to be without you would make them sad.

There are two possibilities.
1) There is no God and no eternal life. The bible is a myth. In this case your life means nothing. You are simply a pile of meat.
2) There is a God, the bible is holy and inerrant. In this case you are a child of God, created in His image. He loves you and wants you to love Him...forever.

Your life is important because a God who loves you more then anything, and who knows you better then yourself, created you. He has a purpose for your life and wants you to fullfill that purpose.
