its bad that your brother moved out. Cant blame anyone for acting the way they do. I hope he did consider you & mom.
But whats the good part in you is, you want to be there for her. Thats a nice quality many of us have lost.We like to ignore the people around us.
Yes, much of the time you will feel miserable that you are not able to be like others or with others. We are all put to the test. I feel in our life we are tested for what we stand for sometime or the other and how we react to those is what makes us.
Take care of your mother. See it this way, put yourself in your moms place and how would you want it to be. Yes, we would not like others to suffer because of us. But if you are doing your duty without any regret, you will always find ways to cope up with the worries. You will grow out of it, with your understanding.
I appreciate you for what you are doing and seriously wish you are able to do most of the the things you love to do & be happy
Regards

Great answer Mary but you must also think about your future. What will you do the rest of your life? Do you want a career? Your brother should be helping you figure this out, so you both have a equal opportunity to have a very rich and happy future.

Taking care of them, just how they took care of me. I know, that it is hard but I know that you are strong and I am pretty sure your mother is appreciating it. And no, you are not a bad person just young. But, try to think that you should do the things on home first and then take care of friends. Good luck and remember that you are a good person and everyone loves you! :)

What is wrong with your Mom? what is her disability? Can't you go away to school and get a nurse or someone to come in during the day to assist her.

You're an awesome person for even being concerned. It means you have a conscience and you love your mother. As a paramedic, please don't put her in any kind of "assisted living" facility. As a Christian...pray about it girl. Good luck.
