I am 8 years older than my boyfriend. We are middle age. He says it doesn't matter. We look the same age and he seems to be proud to be with me, but it is always on my mind.

By that time of life the age difference really isn't important. You are not going to have children together, so who cares? My sister married someone 10 years younger and could not have chosen a better person. I know others who have married someone 10 years younger and had no complaints. It is the person on the inside who is important - not the age of the person. Don't let something as silly as age stop you from finding your special someone. Good Luck.

It makes a big difference if you are very young (say 16 to 24!), less and less so as you get older (say 40-48). If you are middle aged, it doesn't matter at all!

there does not seem to be nothing wrong with this situation if you and your partner carry a strong connection/ relationship this should be in the least of your concerns, let your heart guide you through and not apperance or other negative factors that may come to interfere with your emotions or self-estem what matters isthat you want to be with this person and so it seems that they do as well. by the way i know of different couples who are ages appart from each other and age should not be an issue

Good luck to you in a serious way ,im 10 years older than mine and I have been thru hell ,drugs younger women ,and after marriage he was very inmuture in ways that effected my kids ,we are still together because I do love him but let me tell yah ,anyone that says its easy is wrong .I dont trust him at all now .before I married him I told him I was afraid a day would come he would cheat on me with a younger girl and it did 10 years after being with him .and she said she was with child ,so think long and hard before you go to far .wish you the best of luck .

well when your're older like 25 and up it dosent matter about age because you would look the same age but if you were young and if it was like 18 and 24, then that would be something differant. buh if u like him then why does age matter?

well, if you are the one that it is bothering, then you need to talk to him before you hurt him. If he has no problems with it, then why should you. It really does not matter what everyone else thinks, but the way that you feel toward him.
