I recently started dating this guy whos 19 yrs old for about a month now. He told me i was his first gf and i asked him if he has ever had sex b4 and he said no. He's not the player type and he is actually rather kinda shy....but i still have a very hard time believing he has never had a gf (he says hes only gone on a few dates but never actually had a gf) AND he is a virgin. I guess this is bc every teenage guy i know has either had a few gfs or had sex. So how common/uncommon is this? is he lying to me?

You proably will not know if he is lying...but think about it, he is being honest with you about something that is rather private...hes a guy and at that 19 yrs old and a virgin, thats damn good....especially for a guy....but everyone is differnert, he could be elling the truth and then again he could be lying...it all goes back to how well you know him and if u can trust him, otherwise just stay safe (sexually...if the relationship moves further) and keep your guards up, because these days u really cannot trust anyone...and when it comes to him not ever having a g/f, that could be true or false, but why would he lie about that....dont know...but you two r together, so focus on that and have a good time gurl....god bless!...their is not nothing wrong being a virgin...!

I doubt that he's lying. But men might do that sometimes.
Its possible he's not actually gone out on many dates or any before. Depends on the person really. If you get a feeling that he's lying then he prolly is. Just don't judge him because of something that may have happened in another relationship before him.
It's not too entirely uncommon. Seems that there are more virgins around this age then there used ta be. Personally i think its something to be proud of.
You could always see how sensitive he is. Touch his face gently and see if he coos. :)

I'm sure there are 19 year old virgins. And if he is really that shy then maybe yes.
There really is no surefire way to know whether he is or not.
I hate to sound disrespectful but the best way to find out I would think is to have sex with him and see if he knows what to do or not.

I know a lot of 19 year old guys and older, who have never had girlfriends or sex.. especially the shy ones... and they're usually the "better" guys, too... but it's not always the case.

i think he's telling the truth.though that is not so common nowadays but i guess you should start being grateful to have a guy like that. he must have a very strong principle regarding sex! ei girl, if ever you two become lovers, keep him a virgin okay?=)

hmm how about 25 yrs old?
not because i am shy, or have problem with my looks. but because i fear God. yes it's very rare to find a virgin guy, but there is some. and they are like the treasures believe me.

When males lie about sex it is usually the other way. Like saying they have been with ten girls when they have only been with two. He is probably being honest. Just be glade you got one who isn't a man slu t

i am 17 and until almost 10 monts ago i didnt have a gf , never had sex ( still) and never even touched or had a female friend....it is not comon but yes it can happen
