I am a pro golfer so I use a 60 degree wedge for a front pin and a 52 for a back pin. At times I use what I think most amateurs use a pitching wedge, I will use a choked up pitching wedge if there is wind at my face or I am not swinging well HARD. If I am in a trap at one hundred I will use a p-wedge or 9-iron if spin is not a must. To answer your question in applying it to yourself, in my opinion, if you are swinging well use a club that you can be aggressive with. If you are not having a lot of feel that day, use a club that allows you to be more accurate with your pace and or tempo. Remember the money is made between the hundred and the 125 mark so whatever you use practice it as much as putting and your driver, maybe more, hope this helps.

a 60 degree lob wedge or a laid open sandwedge. If you have high swing speed. then u can hit a pw about 140 to 145 like i do. i use a gap wedge at 120 to 135. a sand wedge is 100 to 115. and a lob wedge is a hundred and in. but to hit anything well in the hundred yard range. it takes PRACTICE> PRACTICE. you can not buy a golf game. u can shoot a 78 with walmart clubs or with pings if you have a good swing.

It depends on different situations. The wind on my back or in my face. The location of the pin, or if there is water in front of the green. Maybe the pin is on a tier.....who knows?

A stock 100 yard shot for me is a SW. But I like to play many shots depending on the conditions or lay out... Perhaps a knock down Gap wedge, or a low 8 iron in the teeth of the wind....

It's all relevant..=)

I use a sand wedge (56 degrees) - it's important that you try to improve your distance on you clubs so that you can attack the pin with higher lofted clubs - makes a huge difference

It depends on the situation and you (your swing).

But in general its a 9 iron to various wedges. (I seen people use 7 and 8's for this too)

For me it would be a full swing 50 degree wedge or a soft 40 degree wedge. But I have a hard swing.

depends how far u can hit your clubs generally its either a pw. or a sw but those are the more common ones. there are also lob wedges, approach and the gw. they all have different ranges. but i would say pw, sw, or lw (lob wedge). i have two sw. in my bag both are different degrees so its up to u just try a couple and see what works for u. good luck.

It's really going to vary on the clubs, but I typically use a 9-iron or PW.

A 52 degree "approach" wedge.

Try a 8-iron, 9-iron, or a pitching wedge for more loft.
