5 bucks an hour is standard. Charge extra for new years eve, late nights and more than 3 kids.

Normally the best way to handle this is let the parents set your wage. If they ask you how much you want, respond with, "Whatever you feel is a good rate." Normally you'll end up making a lot more than you ever would have said. If they don't pay well, don't go back. I've made up to $15 an hour this way babysitting for one kid.

I have 3 kids and I set a flat rate on how much I pay my sitters. if I go out on a weekend, I pay them $50.00. They are always fed and close if not IN bed.
If I need a sitter on a weeknight, then the rate is a flat $30.00. Sometimes the sitter will have to fed them dinner on a weeknight.

I try to make it as easy as possible. So by setting a flat rate, we are both happy. For example: If she comes over on a weeknight and only stays an hour and a half she still makes $30.00. And then there are times when I am out later on a weekend that $50.00 is lousy for the hours she worked. This method evens everything out!

I've had bulimia, depression and anxiety but i take pills for them now, it can get like that if not treated properly. If you're in a teen state of mind then it's normal but you should consider seeing someone anyways Most teens that expierence it will grow out of it but some don't and it gets really bad. It can also run in families. My mom, two sisters and brother have all been depressed.

Like every other job, it depends on your location and experience level and what the market will bear. Talk to your neighbors and ask what they pay. If you are a high schooler (or younger), ask your mom to ask her friends what they pay.

In places where the cost of living is low and you are a teen, you can expect to earn $5/hour (or less if you are 13 or under and mostly babysit in the afternoon). If you are in a higher cost of living area like SoCal, NJ or Boston and have experience and training, you could ask $8/hr. If you are in a city like NY or San Fran and have experience and training, you could get $15/hr and up.

6.50 an hour on weekdays
8.50 on weekends
10.00 on late nights and holidays

standard minimum wage pay usually sounds good. really depends on what you can afford. my sister pays a babysitter almost 30 a day but her kids are evil little demons.

The average cost of daycares is $2.80/hour totalling $28.00 for up to 10 hours and you're not licensed so charge $2.00/hr per child.

five bucks an hour if the kids are well behaved- 10 if they are not. Plus you should get 2 free popsicles and / or microwave popcorn for each shift you work. Good luck!
